A REAL BOOK / A CONNECTED WEB EXPERIENCE

The pages.
The way into the story.

H2ONU connects Ray Culver’s novel, a dedicated book offer and a wider digital experience. It is our founder’s own project, not an external client commission.

This example shows publishing and web development working together. It does not establish delivery of every format or distribution channel for clients.

Your book.
Clear responsibilities.

Ownership & access

We agree the publisher of record, imprint, ISBN and account ownership before setup. Access and handoff responsibilities are documented for your chosen route.

Costs & approvals

Our scope and service fee are distinguished from printing, shipping, ISBN and provider charges. You review the choices and approve the work at agreed points.

Available to order is different from stocked on a shelf. Distribution can make a title available for retailers and libraries to order. Their stocking and purchasing decisions remain theirs. Sales and shelf placement are not guaranteed.

PUBLISHING, MADE CLEARER

The details
behind the release.

Questions about identifiers, print on demand and what to have ready.

Who owns the ISBN and publisher account?

We agree the publisher of record, imprint and account ownership before setup. If you want to publish under your own imprint, we help you obtain and register appropriate ISBNs through the official agency for your country. ISBN purchases and provider charges are separate from our service fee.

Does every edition need its own ISBN?

We map the identifiers to your chosen formats and editions before files are finalized. Paperback and hardcover editions need separate ISBNs; eBook requirements depend on the platform. For example, KDP does not require an ISBN for a Kindle eBook.

Can you help with print on demand?

Yes. We can prepare files and coordinate provider setup, proof copies and distribution settings. Printing happens as orders are placed. Trim size, paper, color, binding, unit costs, shipping, discounts and returns are reviewed for the chosen provider before release.

Will my book be stocked in bookstores?

Distribution can make a title available for retailers and libraries to order. Stocking, purchasing and promotional decisions remain with those organizations. Sales and shelf placement are not guaranteed.

What should I have ready?

Bring your manuscript or current draft, goals, available artwork and any existing publisher accounts. We identify editing needs, permissions, responsibilities, costs and approval points in the proposal. Editing, illustration, printing, paid promotion and ongoing fulfillment are included only when expressly scoped.
